Southwoods Court North

The initial new building in this innovative aging in place community will be Southwoods Court North.

This building features independent living in spacious, air conditioned one & den apartment and two bedroom coach home units. Each unit will have full kitchens, large balconies, in suite laundry, and will be designed to Barrier Free standards. Choice of car ports or electrified surface parking will be available.

Southwoods Court North has a furnished two story lobby with elevator, a ground floor family party room and kitchenette with access to a landscaped courtyard. The second floor will have a guest suite and exercise room.

Southwoods Court North offers reduced utility costs through the inclusion of a state of the art geothermal heating system, and reduced electrical costs by means of a gas fired co generation system.

Southwoods Court North is situated next to the future Mews "A" assisted living apartment building which will provide Mews "A" residents with access to optional meals in our formal dining room with commercial kitchen, a memory care unit, and Designated Assisted Living and site based home care to provide 24 hour call responses to residents in Southwoods Court North.

Southwoods Village is ahead of its time in the retention of our 236 existing town homes, which provide affordable, family friendly housing for our valued friendly, experienced care, food service , and maintenance staff. Eligible renters in Southwood Town Homes, including our staff, can receive up to 25% rent reduction from the Cornerstones program through Capital Region Housing.

Other amenities include an English Pub, movie room, crafts room, exercise room, and other areas for socializing.
