Christenson Communities has over 1,500 Retirement Living Suites located in Edmonton, Sherwood Park, St. Albert, Red Deer, Leduc, Whitecourt, Lacombe and Rocky Mountain House. Many of these Communities are integrated into Christenson’s innovative “Urban Village” concept.
These sustainable communities are planned with the future in mind, and offer active adults a choice of housing styles in a centrally located village with shopping, transit, and professional services situated around public parks and linear walkways.

A survey team of professionals visited our communities and interviewed our team, as part of the accreditation program. To receive accredited status, our organization must meet required organizational practices and must successfully meet an extensive set of quality standards:

Self-Assessments
Organizations that choose to participate in this pursuit of excellence must complete a detailed self-assessment, provide evidence of compliance with the national standards, and commit to integrated quality management, continuous improvement and intensive peer review.
